In sintesi
La cacciatrice Buffy si trova improvvisamente a dover affrontare uno stuolo di vecchi nemici, che credeva di aver definitvamente eliminato; un suo vecchio avversario, infatti, li sta richiamando da una dimensione parallela. Come se non bastasse, si sono aggiunti anche gli zombi, a complicare ulteriormente la situazione e adesso su Sunnydale incombe anche la minaccia del "Primo", l'incarnazione definitiva del male. Ce la farà la cacciatrice a risolvere la situazione?
