Dopo aver catturato il pubblico dei core gamer con titoli come Rainbow Six e Ghost Recon, Ubi Soft prova ora a far avvicinare anche i casual gamer al settore degli sparatutto tattico/operativi con Al vertice della tensione, gioco ispirato, come già i precedenti due, a un'opera di Tom Clancy e che verrà proposto al pubblico in contemporanea con l'uscita del film omonimo (protagonisti Ben Affleck e Morgan Freeman).
